A humble and rich life with tea

Tea and Kyushu
Tea quenches thirst and relaxes the mind. Since ancient times, tea has always existed between people. The history of tea has a deep connection with Kyushu. In the Kamakura period (1185-1333), Zen Master Eisai brought tea seeds from the Song Dynasty to Nagasaki and Hirado, and this was the beginning of modern tea. In the early Edo period, Zenji Ingen introduced the kettle-frying tea method, and Kei Oura, a female trader at the end of the Edo period, pioneered the export of Japanese tea by procuring tea from all over Kyushu.

Good things from KyushuKyushu, with its mild climate, is ideal for tea cultivation, and there are many tea production areas. There are fields in the misty mountains, slopes with soft sea breezes, and plains as far as the eye can see with good drainage. Quality tea leaves are the result of favorable weather conditions, production methods, and the thoughts of the tea growers. We offer a unique way to enjoy Kyushu tea by using carefully selected tea leaves from Kyushu as a base, roasting them in our own unique way, and blending them with natural ingredients to create seasonal blends.

Every day, we deal with tea trees as if we were nurturing our own children. The more care we put into our tea plants, the better the tea leaves we produce.

Kind to NatureDeeply rooted in the earth and nurtured by sunlight and blessed rain, tea trees are a precious gift to be passed down from generation to generation. We hope that the sight of lush tea fields will help protect the beautiful natural environment. The packaging materials are plant-derived biomass materials, and the tea bags are made of "Soylon," which does not interfere with the taste of tea even when boiling water is poured. These materials are friendly to both people and nature, as they decompose in the soil and produce little CO2 when burned.
